Friends of Helen McArdle Care is our volunteer programme where we invite you to become a companion and mentor to our residents. Our residents enjoy meeting new people and being introduced to new interests; a small amount of your time can really bring a lot of happiness to them.

In the past, Friends of Helen McArdle Care have:

• Supported and encouraged residents in a certain hobby or interest.
• Accompanied our residents on trips out of the home.
• Taught new skills to residents through workshops and presentations.
• Provided entertainment.
• Helped out during fairs, open days and parties.

We are not just looking for individual volunteers but also local businesses and groups who can teach our residents new skills and talk to them about the industry they work in.
