Our People

Helen McArdle Care was founded by Helen McArdle in 1989 and is a family run business. The Senior Management Team is made up of nine people who are highly qualified in their profession and passionate about the care and wellbeing of older people.

Many of the staff that work at Helen McArdle Care have been with us for over 10 years and some for over 20, this means that we are able to offer a high standard of care consistently throughout all of our Homes. We are always keen to promote from within the company as we recognise that the staff that we have trained know the standards that are expected of a Helen McArdle Care Home and are able to deliver the quality that we require. With this in mind we have an extensive training programme throughout all of our Homes to ensure that our staff are suitably trained and also to support them in their own career progression.

At Helen McArdle Care we have worked with the same architects, building contractors and suppliers for over 15 years. We find that this provides continuity throughout all of the Homes and that it also enables us to identify and implement the latest trends, technologies and lifestyles into the design of our Homes.
